Do you suffer with pimples? Here’s how you can prevent them

A good regular skincare routine to prevent pimples is much better than struggling to cure them with products and looking for remedies.

We all have skin problems every now and then. That one ugly pimple that pops up at the worst possible time can be a real pain. Not all of us are blessed with clear and good quality skin. Breakouts are a very common problem. And most of the times this problem is not because of hormones or skin problems but because of little things that we fail to do in order to protect our skin. We follow a skincare routine to ensure that we have good quality skin but we miss out on little things that can lead to a crazy breakout. A breakout can affect us in more than one way. It not only impacts our skin but it also impacts our self-confidence. We avoid going out and clicking pictures when we have a breakout but we don’t take any measures to prevent it. While we struggle with the urge to touch our pimples, we miss out on these things that can help us avoid a situation like this altogether.

1. Wash Your Face

Wash your face twice a day with face wash. Once when you wake up and once when you go to bed. Don’t use a facewash more than twice a day. If your face is sticky and dirty due to the pollution, simply wash it with plain water and cleanse your face. You can also use cleansing milk to do the same.

2. Clean Hair

You like oiling your hair and everything but keep your hair away from your face when you oil it to ensure the oil doesn’t rub off on your skin. If you’re an acne-prone skin, try to keep your hair clean. Wash your hair as frequently as possible in order to avoid the impurities and excess oil from rubbing off on your skin.

3. Reduce Stress

Stress can cause acne or even make it worse. Our mind does have an impact on our body. Stress can also impact your hormones which in turn impacts your skin and leads to breakouts.

4. Hydrate

Pimples are a result of toxins and if you don’t drink enough liquids and hydrate your body and skin, it will lead to a breakout. Hydrating helps flush out the toxins and keeps your skin clear and healthy.

5. Products

The products you use on your skin impact the way your skin behaves. Try to use gentle products that are not too oily. Avoid using too many scrubs. Pick the right sunscreen and the right makeup products as per your skin type. Watch how much product you use. We often tend to moisturize too much.
