    The very mention of acne can terrorise you! Its sit like an ugly spot on your pretty face and leave you feeling embarrassed. While you might be tempted to use a powerful medication to cure it fast, its side effects outweigh the benefits. This is why experts recommend using natural ways to treat the problem. One such ingredient which is indispensable to a flawless face is Honey! By using Honey for acne, you can only treat the existing problem, but also prevent future attacks.

    * Honey and Cinnamon
    Honey and Cinnamon, both have antibacterial properties which help in treating acne. Cinnamon contains certain agents called Cinnamalde, Cinnamyl Alcohol and Cinnamic Acid, which can kill bacteria instantly. It also works as a natural astringent to shrink your skin pores and give it a smoother appearance. The relation between honey and pimples is quite known to us.
    * Turmeric and Honey
    One of the best honey remedies for acne is to use with Turmeric. This mask is quite effective in removing acne from the roots, thanks to the anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties of both the ingredients. On top of that, Turmeric is a power antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent which can cure even stubborn pimples.

    * Green Tea and Honey
    Green tea is loaded with flavonoids which can fight free radicals that damage your skin cells. It also controls excess oil production on the skin and makes it look fresh. Combining green tea with honey not only makes for a refreshing drink but also acts as a wonderful elixir in treating acne.
    * Honey and Sugar Mask
    One of the major reasons behind acne is the accumulation of dead cells. Exfoliating your skin at least once a week is recommended to clear your pores. Using a honey and sugar mask works as a mild scrub and is gentle on your skin compared to the readymade scrubs.

    * Coconut Oil and Honey

    Coconut oil works well as a deep pore cleanser. It can effectively remove the dirt and grime in your skin. Lauric acid, one of the key fatty acids present in Coconut oil, can kill harmful bacteria that invade your skin. When you combine it with honey, the benefits of both the ingredients enhance trifold.
